Behavioral therapy

Modern behavioral therapy is a multifaceted form of psychotherapy. It is about a shared journey at eye level, you are the expert of your (inner) world and the behavioral therapist makes his or her treatment knowledge available to you. Thanks to a transparent approach, it is always clear to you why and which methods are being used.

This means something like:
Expertise: Where does a problem/behavior come from? What factors maintain it and how can it be changed or a good way of dealing with it be found? - The aim is for you to be able to answer these questions after a behavioral therapy treatment and actively shape your life.
Get into action: In addition to recognizing the origins and factors that maintain a problematic state, the main aim is to actively implement changes in everyday life and practice new things (even between sessions).
Here and now: Behavioral therapy is focused on the present and is therefore considered efficient. The past is only dealt with if past experiences are linked to the development and maintenance of the current problem.

Behavioral therapy has a long history and is in a constant state of change, as it is always striving to incorporate all methods that have proven effective in the treatment of psychological complaints/disorders worldwide. The effectiveness of its treatment methods has been proven by scientific studies.
