Description:
Difficulty falling asleep is a problem that affects an increasing number of people. According to a study by MedUni Vienna, sleep problems in Austria are steadily on the rise. A common cause of this is inner restlessness triggered by intense rumination.
That’s why this workshop focuses on strategies that are easy to implement and help you wind down before bedtime. You’ll practice techniques that have been proven to relieve stress and thus help you fall asleep more quickly.
The sleep-induction program you’ll learn about in this workshop combines techniques from writing therapy and hypnosystemic approaches—specifically, self-hypnosis—that you can use at home at any time with minimal time commitment (max. 10 minutes).
How can freewriting and self-hypnosis help?
Freewriting is a method used in writing therapy that has been proven to help you break out of cycles of rumination and let go of stress. By combining it with self-hypnosis techniques, you enter an altered state of consciousness in which you can easily find clarity, solutions, and relief. In this state, you’ll also experience deep relaxation and calm, which helps you fall asleep more easily.
If the seminar cannot be held in person for safety reasons (COVID-19), we will offer an online version.
