Barbara has been working as a clinical and health psychologist, body and trauma therapist in private practice in Vienna for over 10 years. Before that, she worked as a clinical psychologist at Integrationshaus in Vienna for almost 10 years, after spending 2 years in Peru and Ecuador working with children and young people for an English NGO.
Trauma work to stabilize the nervous system, to bring the body back into safety and balance, as well as complex attachment trauma are the areas to which she has devoted herself intensively in recent years in individual and group settings, as well as a workshop leader and lecturer.
It is very important to her to understand the human being as a whole: the body and the autonomic nervous system, the emotional brain, attachment and emotion, as well as our cerebrum, thinking and our ability to attribute meaning to what we experience.
