At “Wiener Couch,” psychotherapists “in training under supervision” (i.A.u.S.) offer psychotherapy at a price that is about 30% lower than the “regular” option.

Psychotherapists “in training under supervision” (i.A.u.S.) are in the final stage of a 7-year training program. They already work just like all other psychotherapists, but they also reflect on the therapeutic processes with a supervisor (a training therapist with additional training who, of course, is also bound by a duty of confidentiality).

Since the fees charged by psychotherapists (as defined by law) are not reimbursed by state health insurance (though they are by many private health insurers), you pay a flat rate of €95 instead of €150, and correspondingly less for other settings. For even more effective therapy, we offer diagnostic evaluation , which serves as the basis for treatment.

All psychotherapists in supervision are supervised by training therapists from their respective training associations, and in addition, the Wiener Couch offers these colleagues internal supervision by senior and experienced therapists—which means double the assurance for you, the client.
