EmoFlow – Self-Awareness Series

Somatic Self-Regulation · Part Work · Relationship Patterns

EmoFlow is a body-oriented self-awareness series for people who want to better understand themselves, their emotions, and their inner reaction patterns.

In small groups, we work with body awareness, nervous system regulation, part work, mindful movement, reflection, and integration. EmoFlow work draws inspiration from, among other sources, ego-state therapy, founded by psychologists John and Helen Watkins; Somatic Experiencing, developed by Dr. Peter Levine; the polyvagal theory, developed by Dr. Stephen Porges; attachment theory; and mindfulness-based approaches.

It's not about "getting rid of" feelings, but rather about becoming more aware of them, understanding them, and developing a new inner way of dealing with them.

The EmoFlow series is structured into three thematic cycles. Each cycle consists of 6 sessions over the course of approximately 3 months and can be taken individually or as a continuous year-long journey.

September 23 – December 16

Understanding Emotions & Perceiving Them in the Body

This series is about exploring emotions more consciously and reconnecting with your body.

Although many people know intellectually what they “should” or “must” feel, they experience little of it physically—or are suddenly overwhelmed by emotions. In this cycle, we learn not only to name our feelings but also to recognize their physical signals: tension, tightness, warmth, pressure, restlessness, withdrawal, numbness, or vitality.

We are researching how emotions arise in the nervous system, how the body reacts to stress, overwhelm, or uncertainty, and how self-regulation becomes possible step by step.

Possible areas of focus:

  • Recognizing and Naming Emotions
  • Recognizing and Understanding Body Language
  • Learning About Nervous System Conditions
  • Practice somatic self-regulation
  • Build internal security and stability
  • Dealing Mindfully with Intense Emotions
  • First Encounter with Inner Aspects

This series is particularly well-suited for people who want to strengthen their emotional self-awareness, develop a deeper connection to their bodies, and learn to better regulate themselves during difficult moments.

Dates:

Sept. 23, Oct. 14, Nov. 4, Nov. 18, Dec. 2, Dec. 16

Price:

€95 per session or €513 in advance (-10%)

Bonding & Relationships

In this series, we’ll focus on relationship patterns, attachment dynamics, and the question of why we often react the way we do in relationships.

Many conflicts arise not only from communication, but also from the nervous system’s long-standing defense mechanisms. Closeness, distance, withdrawal, conformity, anger, insecurity, or the need for control can all be signs that parts of our inner selves are trying to establish a sense of security.

We explore how early attachment experiences, relationship experiences, and deep-seated emotional patterns can influence our reactions today. At the same time, we practice self-care, self-regulation, and co-regulation as a foundation for greater inner and interpersonal security.

Possible areas of focus:

  • Recognizing Your Own Relationship Patterns
  • Understanding Dynamics of Proximity and Distance
  • Physically Perceiving Triggers in Relationships
  • Recognizing the Nervous System's Protective Responses
  • Strengthening Self-Care in Relationships
  • Exploring Boundaries, Needs, and Inner Aspects
  • Understanding Co-Regulation and Emotional Security
  • enable new experiences of inner relationships

This cycle is suitable for people who want to better understand their patterns in romantic relationships, family, friendships, or professional relationships and shape them more consciously.

Dates:

Jan. 13, Jan. 27, Feb. 10, Feb. 24, Mar. 10, Mar. 31

Price:

€95 per session or €513 in advance (-10%)

April 14 – June 23

Self-Worth, Inner Aspects, and Authentic Expression

For the third cycle, a focus that delves even deeper into one’s own identity—beyond emotions and relationships—is appropriate: Who am I if I no longer define myself solely through conformity, achievement, protection, or old roles?

This cycle focuses on self-worth, inner parts, and authentic self-expression. We’ll explore our inner critics, wounded parts, adapted parts, and resourceful parts. The goal isn’t to “get rid of” anything within ourselves, but rather to better understand our inner dynamics and develop greater self-compassion, clarity, and inner guidance.

Many people have learned to hold back, to function, to be strong, to please everyone, or to criticize themselves before others do. Through somatic work, part work, movement, reflection, and mindful integration, space is created for a new inner attitude: greater connection with oneself, greater self-confidence, and greater expression of one’s true nature.

Possible areas of focus:

  • Building Self-Esteem and Inner Security
  • Understanding Your Inner Critics and Protective Aspects
  • Mindfully acknowledge the parts of yourself that have been hurt
  • Tap into Your Resources and Inner Strength
  • explore authentic expression
  • Gain a Clearer Sense of Boundaries and Needs
  • Developing Self-Compassion and Inner Connection
  • Integration and Conclusion of the Annual Journey

This series is ideal for people who want to explore their inner selves more deeply, challenge old self-perceptions, and develop a stronger connection to their authentic self-expression.

Dates:

April 14, April 28, May 12, May 26, June 9, June 23

Price:

€95 per session or €513 in advance (-10%)
