Mag. ADINA KREISL

Adina Kreisl takes a sensitive, holistic and resource-oriented approach in her work with clients. Especially in challenging life situations or crisis situations, it is important to become aware of one's own resources in order to be able to solve problems or overcome crises. In clinical psychology, it is possible to combine a variety of treatment approaches in order to create a treatment concept that is individually tailored to the client. Adina currently works at a department for child and adolescent psychiatry and has already worked in clinical psychiatric settings several times. Due to her experience at Salzburg University Hospital, in the adult and child sector, as well as her work in interdisciplinary teams, a holistic approach with clients is a personal concern for her. In the psychological service of the Ministry of the Interior, she supported the department for emergency and trauma psychology. Her main areas of work included specialist psychological support for staff in stressful operational and life situations, psychological aptitude diagnostics and lecturing in the field of training and further education. She wrote her diploma thesis on the subject of burnout and the associated consequences. During her 12 years as an elementary school teacher, including in a managerial role, she gained a great deal of experience in dealing with families and their needs and in the area of parent counseling.
