Therapy is about activating change processes and gaining confidence in your own inner landscape. What of your thinking and behavior do you want to keep and what do you want to let go of? As a systemic therapist, I have the assumption that every behavior makes sense if we know the context and that every course of action has a meaningful significance for the overall system in which the person finds themselves. We systemists also say that the person is never the problem, but the relationship to the problem is the problem.
