Born in Bonn, his path led him to Vienna after completing his A-levels. In the early 1990s, he opened the health and fitness club "beer's", which he managed as owner for 23 years and sold in 2017. In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, he began training in psychotherapy in 2011, which he completed in 2017. He also attended additional training, seminars and courses in trauma therapy, attachment theory, group dynamics and psychodynamic diagnostics. After completing his training (specialist psychodrama course), he founded the "Wiener Couch" in 2017 and has since devoted himself primarily to psychotherapeutic work.

His therapeutic work is based on the principle of "differentiating and integrating". With the help of a scenic understanding, the different roles of the client and the corresponding emotions are differentiated and integrated. This leads to a development of identity. Christian Beer works on three levels of existence: thinking, feeling and acting.

For self-awareness processes in individual or group settings, for couples therapy and for coaching, Christian Beer offers personality analyses for which he is certified.

He offers all settings: Individual, couple and group; he also works as a coach, both in personality coaching and business coaching.
