Christa is offering to support you along your way in case you suffer from mental problems, conflicts caused by your biography or have to manage difficult phases in your life.
Born and grown up in Vienna, Christa has originally studied business economics at the Vienna Business university and after that was working many years in privately owned companies. Driven by her long-term passion for psychology and the inner mechanism of personal development and growth, she decided to start an education in psychotherapy in parallel to her job and is now working as psychotherapist in training under supervision.
It is crucial for Christa to create an atmosphere where patients can address their thoughts and feelings freely and without being judged. Christa is working based on an psychoanalytic approach, which is helpful for young and older grown ups with multiple types of problems and symptoms.
Thereby current psychological problems are traced back to biographical unconscious conflicts. These conflicts can, from the unconscious, influence our thoughts, deeds and emotions.
It is key to recognize unconscious feelings, memories and relationship patterns within the therapeutic relationship in the „here and now“. This facilitates to get better insight into feelings and actions that are difficult to understand and to work on them and modify them in a way that enables change and growth.
